WHEN: Wednesdays, March 18 – May 6, no class April 22 . Please note that snow/sick days will result in Wednesdays added on to the semester (either April 22 or May 13).
DESCRIPTION: After 2025’s success with Set El Hosen, it is only natural that we return to the stage in 2026 with Gawaher. Gawaher means means “jewels” in Arabic. It is an orchestral song written by Samy Farag, and it is often used as a mejance. Please note that this is an advanced class requiring a high level of skill, ability and practice. It is also a “no complaint zone” class (which, of course, I say lovingly). It WILL be demanding, as our other classical Egyptian pieces have been over the past 5 years. It will also require an audition before registering for the summer rehearsal semester.

COST: $80 per month once per month for three months, beginning the day you register. The deadline for registration is Friday, March 13, after which time the price goes up $10/month. Please note that there are no refunds, discounts for missed classes, transfers of registration/credit to other students, or refunds due to instructor illness, weather rescheduling or power outages.
