WHEN: Tuesdays, June 13-August 8 (No class July 4 but class will be held Weds July 5 instead, same time.  No class July 11 and 18)

DESCRIPTION:
This class is designed to meet the needs of the current Intermediate level dance students who, in my opinion, given their diligent Technique study this winter, are the most amazing ever.  This class will also be appropriate for newer Advanced level students.  Summer 2023 reveals that almost all intermediate students have performed, and/or on track to perform, with Veil, Zills and Cane.  Only three of our local intermediate students will not have done all three by the end of the year.  This being said, Summer 2023 gives us the opportunity to dance using the intermediate dance skills developed earlier this year without any props - something that almost never happens in the Intermediate curriculum.   This would be the logical class for all current Tuesday 6:00 dancers and any other advanced dancer who wants a "little extra something" that will be fun and challenging, but not painfully brain-boggling.  The class WILL be live-streamed and recorded because it is new choreography.  It is strongly suggested that local students show up in person.  2024 will contain both Veil and Zills Intermediate choreographies as we bring in a large group of beginners moving up after the fall show.

PLEASE NOTE: All classes above beginner level require instructor permission (by email).  Please note that everyone who attends in person needs to be vaccinated.  Masks are optional.

LOCATION: Hanover Rec Center (this is the Richard W. Black Center NOT the Black Family Center) at 48 Lebanon Street in Hanover, next to Ledyard Bank.  A Zoom link will be provided for remote students.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: SeeFAQ’s page.

COST:  There are two different prices - In-Person and Remote.  For In-Person attendees, the price is $85 for ONLY TWO MONTHS beginning the day you register (because August would be used for costume payments for the show if you decide to be in the fall show).  For Remote attendees, the price is $72 per month for three months beginning the day you register.  Please note that Remote Students are automatically filmed as part of the class video.  The video is carefully reviewed and feedback is given to remote students at the beginning of the following class.  The registration deadline is June 1,  after which time the price goes up $10 per month.  Please note that we cannot offer refunds, discounts for missed classes (although we encourage make-ups for this class in Beginner classes), transfers of registration/credit to other students, or refunds due to instructor illness, weather rescheduling or power outages.
