Intermediate Technique, Winter 2022
WHERE: Live in person, live online + class recordings!! See https://GinaDances.Podia.com
WHEN: Tuesdays, January 18 - March 23, no class Feb 22 and March 15.
This class is designed for new and returning intermediate students, as well as any other advanced student who would like to work on intermediate technique. If you were enrolled in Tuesday classes during 2021, this is the correct class for you during the Winter of 2022, even if you have already performed veil, cane and zills. Please note that all students moved at a slower pace during the beginning of covid due to a percentage of online learning. The main focus of this class is introducing, drilling, and strengthening the foundations for Level 2 Belly Dance. Posture, arms, hands, muscle control, fluidity, grace, layering, isolations and complex combinations create the backbone of this class. This class will be taught in person, it will also be broadcast live online and high quality replays will be made available to everyone who is enrolled. This class is longer than other advanced classes and fifteen minutes of class time will be devoted to online students since this class will probably be attended about 1/3 online. It is strongly suggested that local students show up in person. This is a required class in the intermediate level sequence (including multiple technique semesters, veil, cane and zills) prior to taking any intermediate or advanced classes during 2022. Please note that everyone who attends in person needs to be vaccinated. Masks are optional.
PLEASE NOTE: All classes above beginner level require instructor permission (by email). Please note that everyone who attends in person needs to be vaccinated. Masks are optional.
LOCATION: Dancer's Corner, Pine Street, White River Junction next to Stern's Produce, and a Zoom link will be provided.
FAQs: See FAQ’s page regarding foul weather, make-up classes and other issues. Please note that everyone who attends in person needs to be vaccinated. Masks are optional.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: SeeFAQ’s page.
COST: $65 per month for three months beginning the day you register. The registration deadline is Wednesday, January 12, after which time the price goes up to $75 per month. Please note that we cannot offer refunds, discounts for missed classes (although we encourage make-ups for this class in Beginner classes), transfers of registration/credit to other students, or refunds due to instructor illness, weather rescheduling or power outages.
