DESCRIPTION:
The Wednesday fall rehearsal classes will put the finishing touches on the Wednesday Winter and Spring choreographies in preparation for the fall show (the weekend before Thanksgiving.) These classes also include staging, costuming and administrative issues. Beginning September 1, only one absence per choreography is permitted and it cannot be in November.
August is a light month:
Aug 7: Peer rehearsal (6:00 Tambo-Skirt, 6:45 Melaya, 7:30 Classical)
Aug 14: 6:00 Tambo Skirt, 7:00 Melaya (please arrive 6:45 to warm yourself up), 8:00 Classical (please arrive 7:45 to warm yourself up)
Aug 21: Show video review week
Aug 28: Peer rehearsal (6:00 Tambo-Skirt, 6:45 Melaya, 7:30 Classical)
September is a normal month. Please schedule peer rehearsals on weeks when you do not have class:
Sept 4 – Skirt 6:00, Melaya 7:15
September 11 – Melaya 6:00, Classical 7:15, Skirt peer rehearsal 7:15
September 18 – Peer rehearsal Skirt 6:00, Melaya, 6:45, Classical 7:30
September 25 – Skirt 6:00, Melaya 7:15
October and November are heavy months with peer rehearsals each week as well as alternating classes
If you are unavailable for the scheduled peer rehearsals below, you have to find another time to rehearse:
October 2 – 6:00 Skirt, 7:15 Classical, 7:15 Melaya peer rehearsal for those not in Classical
October 9 – Peer rehearsal Skirt 6:00, Melaya, 6:45, Classical 7:30
October 16 – Skirt 6:00, Classical 7:15, 7:15 Melaya peer rehearsal for those not in Classical
October 23 – Skirt 6:00, Melaya 7:00, Classical 8:00
Oct 30 – Melaya 6:00, Classical 7:15, 7:15 Skirt Rehearsal for those not in Classical
Nov 6 – Dress Rehearsal – Skirt 6:00, Melaya 7:00, Classical 8:00
Nov 13 – Dress Rehearsal – Skirt 6:00, Melaya 7:00, Classical 8:00
Nov 20, 21, 22 at the theater Tech Rehearsal
Nov 23 – Show
Monday Nov 25 will be video show review
LOCATION: Hanover Rec Center, 48 Lebanon Street. There is no zoom option for summer Wednesday classes.

COST: Costume ($100 Skirt, $140 Melaya, $130 Classical in August) then $75 per month for Skirt and Melaya, each with three payments, September, October and November. $85 for Classical (this includes $10 extra for costuming to defray August’s payment), with payments in September, October and November. The registration deadline is Saturday August 17, after which time the price goes up $10 per month. Please note that we cannot offer refunds, discounts for missed classes (although we encourage make-ups at other locations), transfers of registration/credit to other students, or refunds due to instructor illness, weather rescheduling or power outages.
