Wednesday Choreography Show Prep
WHERE: Hanover Rec Center only. Previous class recordings are found at https://GinaDances.Podia.com
TIME: 6:00-7:00 (Gina warms up group), 7:00-8:00 (Melaya students warm up at 7 pm) , 8:00-9:00 (Classical students warm up at 8).
WHEN: Wednesdays, June 12-August 14, no classes July 24 and 31.
DESCRIPTION:
The Wednesday summer rehearsal classes will fine tune the Wednesday Winter and Spring choreographies in preparation for the fall show (the weekend before Thanksgiving.) Please note, however, that enrollment in the summer fine tuning class does not mean that you have agreed to perform (that comes with the costume deposit), with the exception of Classical Expression due to the likelihood of its intense staging. When the choreographies are introduced during the first half of the year, the dances are taught in their “rough” form. Summer is an opportunity to begin to really master the dances. These classes also include staging and costuming issues (so please know that even if you are not planning to perform the piece, we will be doing these activities). It is understood that people will have summer absences and there is no attendance policy for summer.

July 10 – Skirt, Melaya, Classical
July 17 – Skirt, Melaya, Classical

Aug 7 or 14 will be all Mezze choreos depending on when people are available (this will not be at the Rec Center)
LOCATION: Hanover Rec Center, 48 Lebanon Street. There is no zoom option for summer Wednesday classes.

COST: $75 per month with only two payments, charged in June and July. Classical Expression, due to size, is $85/month. Mezzes are $25 per month for 6 months which includes procuring costume loan. August is reserved for costuming payments only (no regular class payments in August.) The registration deadline is June 1, after which time the price goes up $10 per month. Please note that we cannot offer refunds, discounts for missed classes (although we encourage make-ups at other locations), transfers of registration/credit to other students, or refunds due to instructor illness, weather rescheduling or power outages.
