WHEN: Tuesdays, May 20 – July 15.  Please note that there is no regular class on June 10 and July 8.  Those will be peer rehearsal days for those performing Cane in the show (just to keep them alive). 

DESCRIPTION:
This class is designed for intermediate and/or Tuesday students, as well as any advanced student who wants to have fun and/or “needs that little extra” for the fall show.   I’m pretty excited about this class.  It’s going to feature a sassy pop choreography to a song sung in Turkish that literally is named “Spoiled”.  It’s a “junior high girl personality” piece and I’m dedicating it (as a reward) to the 2023 beginners who are now finishing their intermediate training.  The 2024 show was CHALLENGING and you all (regardless of “time in”) deserve something super fun.  If you were a beginner in the 2024 show, you get a fun ride because you have good karma : ) If you are an advanced student who needs that “bust out” choreography, this is the class LOL.   The choreography will be polished and staged during the final semester of the year for local students who choose to perform it in the show.  This class will be taught in person and it will also be broadcast live online.  Replays will be made available to everyone who is enrolled.  Local students should make every effort to attend live.  This is a required class in the intermediate level sequence (including multiple technique semesters, veil, cane and zills).  Non-local students who will not be performing in the show are welcome and valued class members.  Taking this class does not automatically mean that you have agreed to perform it.

COST:$70 once per month for three months beginning the day you register (May, June, August).  Please let me know if you need a June/August payment schedule instead.  July is reserved for costume payments only.  The registration deadline is May 16, after which time the price goes up $10 per month.  Please note that we cannot offer refunds, discounts for missed classes (although we encourage make-ups for this class in Beginner classes), transfers of registration/credit to other students, or refunds due to instructor illness, weather rescheduling or power outages.
